ActiveX is a technology from Microsoft that was first released in the 1990s. The idea is to built robust component software that can be reused in multiple applications. VDISoft first released our ActiveX component for SPC in 1996. We continue to enhance and improve these components today.

Using ActiveX

Most COM-based development tools like Visual Basic 6 (VB6), Delphi, Visual C++, Borland C++ Builder and many other tools support ActiveX technology. Many SCADA/HMI packages also support these tools.
